Course Description
This course will develop skills in script-editing for Australian series and serial television. The emphasis will be on learning practical skills by editing a script written for an existing TV series.

Learning Outcomes
1. Develop a process for analysing a script
2. Produce first draft notes on given script to enable viable development of second draft which is in keeping with production requirements of show.
3. Replot problematic story strands
4. Edit and rewrite scenes as required
Overview of Assessment
Assessment will include:
- one liner exercise of given episode
- First draft notes and general plan for episode
- Rewrite of sections of script
- In class exercises
