Overview of Assessment
This unit is most appropriately assessed in the computer laboratory using holistic assessment, based on a variety of simulated work tasks to set time frames.
Assessment of this unit will involve completion of:
• A series of small assignments from within a project assessed in class and covering the basic elements of preparing structural steel design drawings to industry standards.
• A 3 hour end of semester examination.
