Self-directed
Using IT resources investigate:
• Current WHS legislation
• Dental Practice Board compliance requirements
• ADA resources and templates
Develop a risk assessment of current work environment
Review standard operating procedures
Simulation
Using workplace scenarios, participate in simulations/role plays/case studies dealing with WHS procedures & risk assessment
Workplace:
Participate in a practical placement in a designated dental prosthetist workplace and demonstrate consistently and repeatedly maintenance of WHS standards
Identify and reflect on resolutions relating to risk assessment of current work environment. Maintain a current clinical logbook.
