Course Description

This course describes the skills and knowledge required to undertake supervisory and coordinating activities in work groups in health and community service organisations.   Workers at this level are team leaders or managers responsible for coordinating and monitoring the activities and performance of work teams and other service providers.   This course applies to a range of leadership roles in health and community services workplaces.

Details of Learning Activities

Workshops where information is shared through talks and discussions, and exercises are conducted to apply learning. Time is spent during workshops for students to work on assessment tasks. It is an expectation that students also work on tasks outside of workshop time.
