The development of the program structure and the choice of units appropriate to the Business sector were informed by representatives of the business industry and RMIT educators.
Teachers maintain close contact with industry through various professional development activities.
Teachers regularly engage guest speakers for the program. All learners participate in classes where they are assisted to make connections between theoretical concepts and the workplace. In some cases this is their own workplace. Mentoring and coaching by the teacher in order to assist learners to make this connection is a major design feature of this program.
