Course Description

Information systems are the lifeblood of modern organisations as they are an integral part of most business activities. In this course, you will develop the necessary skills to design and implement information systems solutions to address basic business issues.

  1. Apply theoretical and technical knowledge of information systems to facilitate and support business practice.
  2. Select and apply various tools and techniques to effectively implement information systems to support business processes.

Your learning will be supported through various in-class and online activities comprising individual and group work. These may include quizzes; assignments; prescribed readings; sourcing, researching and analysing specific information; solving problems; conducting presentations; producing written work and collaborating with peers on set tasks or projects.
