Program Learning Outcomes Statement
Program Learning Outcomes for nursing practice are identified by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Registered Nurse Standards for Practice (effective June 2016). The achievement of these Standards is evident over the three years of the Bachelor of Nursing Program and is required for the graduate to apply for registration.
On completion of BP032 Bachelor of Nursing the graduate:
- Thinks critically and analyses nursing practice
- Engages in therapeutic and professional relationships
- Maintains the capability for practice
- Comprehensively conducts assessments
- Develops a plan for nursing practice
- Provides safe, appropriate and responsive quality nursing practice
- Evaluates outcomes to inform nursing practice
