Course Description

This unit of competency, Ensure a safe workplace BSBWHS501A is delivered in the class Design Studio 2, together with Establish Networks BSBREL401A and Undertake Project Work BSBPMG522A. This unit enables students to develop an awareness of safe workplace practices and environments that exist within the interactive and digital media industry. This course covers the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to establish, maintain and evaluate the organisation’s occupational health and safety (OHS) policies, procedures and programs in the relevant work area in accordance with OHS legal requirements.
