Course Description
This unit covers the skills and knowledge required for the trialling and fitting of custom-made footwear.
The learner will develop the required knowledge and skills associated with communication and team work to work with the client to determine fit outcomes and requirements.
Planning and organising and problem solving skills are required to resolve fitting problems.

Details of Learning Activities
Integrated learning activities in this course consists of theory and practical components carried out in a workshop environment. Throughout the course, you will develop the skills and knowledge to create custom-made footwear products. You will learn to use and work with a range of materials, suppliers and components used in footwear manufacturing.

To be assessed as Competent in this course, you will need to complete each assessment task to a satisfactory standard. You will receive feedback from the teacher at the conclusion of each assessment task.
