Course Description
In the Live Production industry, much of the work is carried out in teams. In this course you will develop performance plans, lead lighting crews and work with the heads of other production crews.

Assessment for this course will involve demonstration of practical tasks and testing of your knowledge.
Assessment Tasks

Assessment is ongoing throughout the course and will include a range of practical and theory components. Full assessment briefs will be provided and can be found on Canvas.
This is a Vocational Education and Training qualification and is assessed for Competency. To be assessed as Competent means you have consistently demonstrated the required knowledge and skills at a standard required in the workplace. To be assessed as Competent in this course, you will need to complete each assessment task to a satisfactory standard. You will receive feedback from the teacher at the conclusion of each assessment task.
Results that apply to courses that are delivered and assessed in accordance with competency-based assessment are:

Deb - Semester 1
Each student will complete a set of practical tasks in class which are designed to assess the required bump in bump out knowledge and performance evidence.
The submission date for this assessment is April 30, 2019
Simon - Semester 2
Assessment will take place through Practical Placement at an approved employer, or via visiting and interviewing an approved industry employer. Each student will:
Part 1. Organise and supervise the work of a team to bump in and bump out a show or event.
Part 2. Each student will submit written answers to a set of required knowledge evidence questions.
This assessment can be completed and submitted between August – October after consultation with the teacher/assessor.
