Course Description
Managing the bump in and bump out of a range of shows is a fundamental employment skill in the live production industry.
This course will provide you with practical skills and knowledge required to manage the movement, transportation, installation and removal of sound, lighting and vision system equipment and associated physical elements for productions in the screen, media, entertainment and live events industries.

Deb - Semester 1
Each student will complete a set of practical tasks in class which will have been designed to assess the required bump in bump out knowledge and performance evidence.
The submission date for this assessment is May 9, 2018
Simon - Semester 2
Through Practical Placement at an approved employer, or via visiting and interviewing an approved industry employer, each student will:
Part 1. Organise and supervise the work of a team to bump in and bump out a show or event.
Part 2. Each student will submit written answers to a set of required knowledge evidence questions.
This assessment can be completed and submitted between August – October after consultation with the teacher/assessor.
