In this course you will cover the skills and knowledge required to incorporate and edit digital video into interactive media presentations.

Assessment for this course is ongoing throughout the semester. Your knowledge of course content is assessed through participation in practical exercises, knowledge assessment tasks and may include practical team based projects.
Assessment Tasks
To demonstrate competency in this course you will need to complete the following assessment to a satisfactory standard.
You will receive feedback on all assessment and where indicated, you will receive a grade. Graded assessment tasks are equally weighted and will determine your final result for this course.
Assessment task 1 – In class editing task
DUE Week 6 – Ungraded
Documentary editing. Interpret a brief and structure an edit that meets the clients requirements within the deadline.

Assessment task 3
DUE Weeks 12 – 16 (Progressive, 2 weeks after production week) – Graded
Demonstrate application of the principles of video-editing and production techniques.
Edit Interview production.
Assessment task 4
DUE Week 16 – Graded
Design, compile, edit and test the digital media online.
Present the digital video sequence.
Upload final digital media presentation online and email the link to the Edit Digital Video teacher.
Assessment Tasks 1, 2, 3 and 4 are to be finalised by no later than end of Semester 1 Week 16
